‘2FAST 2FURIOUS’ Cast : Then and Now!

Eva Mendes – The role of Monica Fuentes went to Eva Mendes, who found stardom acting in the Oscar-winning film Training Day.

The Latina actress has gained a solid foothold in Hollywood, starring in hit films like Ghost Rider and The Place Behind the Pines. Mendes is currently filming the fantasy thriller How to Catch a Monster.

Cole Hauser – Cole Hauser was cast as the ruthless drug lord Carter Verone. Hauser has made a career of playing evil characters like the racist neo-nazi in Higher Learning or the racist prisoner of war in Hart’s War. The California-born thespian will star in the upcoming action crime drama Dead Drop.

Paul Walker – With the success of the Fast & Furious franchise, Paul Walker hit pay dirt, returning in ’03 for 2 Fast 2 Furious  as former cop Brian O’Conner. The California-bred heartthrob has starred in other action hits like 2010’s Takers, but he’s most known for his O’Conner role which recently brought box office gold in Fast & Furious 6. Walker is currently filming part seven of the franchise.

Tyrese Gibson – For this sequel, Tyrese Gibson returned as Roman Pearce. Since then, the former singing Coca-Cola pitchman and R&B crooner has become a Hollywood action star. Along with landing the Fast & Furious chronicles (cha-ching!) Tyrese landed a secure role in the Transformer franchise. He’s also become an author, publishing the best selling inspiratiopnal books How to Get Out of Your Own Way and Manology, which he co-authored with Rev Run.

Devon Aoki – Eurasian model Devon Aoki played the part of female racer Suki. The daughter of restaurant magnate Rocki Aoki and jewelry designer Pamela Hilburger, Devon didn’t make a splash in Hollywood as an actress, only landing six minor roles in films like Sin City. She’s known more for her modeling work in ads for companies like Lancome and Chanel.

Ludacris – The character of ex-street racer Tej was played by Grammy-winning rap music veteran Ludacris. Following his role in 2 Fast, the wordsmith landed in two Oscar-winning films, Hustle & Flow and Crash. He also released several gold and platinum LPs, including Release Therapy. And he’s starred in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6.
